Whereas:
The Secretary of State has a tremendous ability to protect pro-Family Values across the globe; and

Whereas:
CIA Director Pompeo has shown tremendous leadership in his past during the time as a U.S. Representative and CIA Director by opposing the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and denouncing the Supreme Court's ruling that struck down Real Marriage; and

Whereas:
Director Pompeo has led the charge in the past to defend the Family at all costs by co-sponsoring bills like the State Marriage Defense Act and the Religious Freedom Act.

Therefore:
I urge you to stop any attempt to block Director Mike Pompeo’s confirmation as Secretary of State.
